Week 7- Spring 2023 One Room Challenge
Curating the components of the gentleman’s bathroom has a been an exhilarating experience. Every detail that was carefully selected was done with a purpose and that is to deliver a clean, moody, robust and impressive bathroom.
We are a week away from the reveal and the gentleman’s bathroom has come a long way. For week 7 of the Spring 2023 One Room Challenge, let’s revisit the vision and all the components so far, that makes this bathroom extraordinary.

The components that adds character to the bathroom…..
Paint- The bathroom was a blank canvas which allowed me to transform it easily. I started off by choosing the paint color. After testing several different shades of blues, Midnight Blue by Behr was the winner.
Wallpaper- the wallpaper that it’s installed is absolutely stunning. To me it’s the perfect mix of mid-century and vintage style. Hence, why I am obsessed with the pattern and color.
Accent wall (ceiling)- I added faux beams to the ceiling to create a dramatic look. Those wooden boards adds depth and structure to the ceiling.
Hardware- The cabinet hardwares were replaced. Originally they were nickel and I opted for a chunky and sleek gold handles. These pulls truly elevated the cabinets.
All of a sudden, you realize that everything is falling into place, just like I envisioned. Seeing all the hard work come to life, surely makes me feel proud.
Given that we are almost at the finish line, I am going to have to stop sharing more details because I want to save the best for last. I can’t wait for the reveal next week!
