The Details of the Gentleman’s Bathroom 

Spring 2023 One Room Challenge- Week 3

We made it to the 3rd week of the One Room Challenge and this week is all about the details of the Gentleman’s bathroom renovation. I can’t believe we are 5 weeks away from the reveal. Talk about pressure, huh?

Lately, I have been busy trying to solidify the selections for every item in the room. From trying to pick the right paint color, the wallpaper, hardware, and the art piece, my brain has been on overload.

This is what I have so far:

Paint Color

Looking to find that perfect moody and sexy blue or blue-grey? You better believe I found them! I bought 4 paint samples from Home Depot and tested them on the wall. I am still trying to decide if I am going to “color drench” the bathroom (paint the whole room from top to bottom the same color) or create an accent wall with wood slats. 

Wallpaper

I ordered some wallpaper samples and these are the contenders competing to win the race. Can’t wait to get my hands on them, try them out and a pick a winner. They are all a great match to the masculine vibe.

Wall Art

Remember, this is a gentleman’s bathroom and the goal here is to make sure that all the details are cohesive. I haven’t decided on the art piece just yet. I just know that I want it to offer a WOW factor.

Hardware

We decided to keep our espresso colored cabinets and we are just going to elevate the look by changing out the door pulls. I am still on the hunt for the perfect one but here are some pulls I am considering. Who knew that this task could be nerves-wreaking? Nonetheless, I am loving the challenge.
